She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie H. Jones and Maggie Forbes Jones; and her siblings, Bailey F. Jones, Robert C. Jones and Willie A. "Bud" Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Warren Harding Matheny of Bridgeport; and her sister Mildred Jones Brown of Madison, MS. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
