We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2023, at the age of 87, Lucinda R. Cottrill Hitchcock of Bridgeport, West Virginia, born in Clarksburg, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin T. Hyatt and Stella Belle Hyatt (Gerrard); her daughter Sharon K. Barker (Alan) of Clarksburg, WV; her former husband Elzie Jack Cottrill; her husband Kenneth E. Hitchcock; and her sisters, Nancy Smith and Deloris Newbrough.
She is survived by: her sister Diana L. Smith (Hayward) of Bridgeport, WV; her grandchildren, Megan Brooke Barker (Charles Eneix) of Reynoldsville, Malory LaCole Barker of Clarksburg and Jack Alan Barker (Tori) of Asheville, NC; and her great grandchildren, Kayleigh Eneix, Madison Eneix and Silas Jack Barker. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
