He was predeceased by: his mother Erma Merl Hyde Sandy; his son Nicholas R Allen; his granddaughter Zarah; and his brother Gary L Sandy. He is survived by: his father George Edward Sandy of Bridgeport; his children, Paul E Sandy (Lawren), Teresa D Sandy, Erin N Sandy (Justin Caplinger) and Kristen N Sandy (Andy Bartlett); his grandchildren, Valeri, Jack, Delaney, Andrew, Zendaya, Connor, Braxton and Jocelin; and his sisters, Dora J Hart (Mike), Bridgport, Carol J Hood, Shirley K Sandy (Delmus Mayle), Dorothy Sandy (Phil Hart) and Glenda Snider (George). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
