She was predeceased by: her parents, George Faris and Helen Tenney Faris; her husband Robert Pumphrey; her son Robert Pumphrey, II; and her siblings, Eleanor Cox, Patricia Beverly, Barbara Costello, Ruth Gaines and Tom Faris.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin Lynch (Gregory) of Bridgeport; and her grandchildren, Nicole Vernon, Shannon Hager (Wesley), Jaclyn Cleghorn (Chris Boone) and Jonathan Cleghorn (Marissa Keenan). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
