He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Dennison Mitchell; and his uncle Otto Mitchell. He is survived by: his father John G. Mitchell Sr.; his sister Deborah Wilmoth; his niece Deborah Ann Dickens (T. J.); his nephew Christopher L. Wilmoth; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Colton, Cammryn, Caleb Wilmoth, Piper Dickens and Destiny; his close friends, Rudolph, Sheila J. Bozarth of Clarksburg, Justin and Kayla Bryant; and also Ava of Fairmont.
