He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Stewart Malone and Julia Bertalee Brown Malone; and his siblings, Patrick Charles Malone and Julia Ann Ensley. He is survived by: his wife Connie R. Woofter Malone; his son Josephus "Joe" Dean Malone (Hilary) of Charleston; and his grandsons, Oliver Amon and Theodore Dean Malone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins that complete his family.
