He is survived by: his wife Peggy Joyce Moodispaugh; his cousin Jim Nichols; his brother Robert Cross; his daughter Debra Nelson (Kelly); his grandchildren, Nicholas David Dawkins (Stacie Aliff), Cameron Matthew Nelson (Bianca Andre) and Connor McKenzie Nelson (Victoria Stingo); his son David Lee Cross II; his grandchildren, Holden David Cross (Abby), Peyton Leigh Cross, Chris Dawkins and Beth Fox (Dawkins); his great grandchildren, Adaleia, Eliana and Judah Cross; his daughters-in-law, Jackie Cross and Heather Cross; his siblings-in-law, Lynn Corder, Betty Cross and Carole Moodispaugh; his daughter Charity; and also Mary Ann Musrock.
