We bid farewell to Clair Dale Holbert of Bridgeport, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 24, 2024 at the age of 87. Clair touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, David A. M. and Arreda P. Holbert (Heldreth); his nephews, Daniel Thompson, Gerald Holbert and Phillip Holbert; and his sister-in-law Helen Fleming.

He is survived by: his wife Josephine Holbert (Morris); and his children, Barbara (Daniel Mouser), Lloyd (Kimberly), Jeffrey (Rebecca), Carolyn Jett (Holbert), Stephen Holbert and Sharon Holbert (Aaron Clark). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
