He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Meade and Elta May Eckmond; his siblings, Mary Preece, Carolyn Sparks, Vanessa Luce and Johnny Meade; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Meade, Jerry Gillispie, Frank McCormick and Ronnie Webb.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rose Webb of Genoa, WV, Gloria Sparks (Jimmie) of Griffithsville, WV, Hester McCormick of Ironton, OH, Sharon Hatfield (Ted) of Branchland, WV and Rocky Meade of Genoa, WV; and his brother-in-law James Preece of Genoa, WV. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
