He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Benjamin and Maxine Lillie Hoopengardner Everitt; his brother Richard Everitt; and his son-in-law Ronald Lee Ramer. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kay Eaton Everitt; his children, Gregory Benjamin Everitt of Berkeley Springs and Rhonda Lee Ramer of Berkeley Springs; his sisters, Shirley Heiner of Hedgesville, WV, Milly Potter of Hedgesville, WV, Betty Whiteside of Amaranth, PA and Judy Lutman of Fredericksburg, VA; his grandchildren, Janelle Lynn Golden of Hancock, Kayla Dawn Souders of Berkeley Springs and Brandon Eugene Fleece of Berkeley Springs; and his great grandchildren, Kynzie Diane Golden of Hancock, Laylah JoAnn Golden of Hancock, Mia Catherine Golden of Hancock, Madison Grace Souders of Berkeley Springs, Lyle Hunter Souders of Berkeley Springs and Presley Sage Souders of Berkeley Springs. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
