She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Kennedy and Christina Hilbig; and her son Erick Lerner of Glen Bernie. She is survived by: her son Keith Lerner (Enjaye Lerner). She is also survived by two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She enjoyed working with different charity organizations.
