She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Theodore and Nellie Ada Smith Whisner; her husband William Bell Spitzer; her children, Roland Cornell Spitzer and Kathy Jean Spitzer; her siblings, Faun Maxine Sipes, Charlotte Louise Sheppard, Hazel Nellie Hofe, Lavida Christine Zeilor, Levi William Whisner, Meredith Lorenza Whisner, Oliver Raymond Whisner, Noel Sheldon Whisner and Denver David Whisner; her grandson William McCumbee; and her great great grandchild Landon Longerbeam.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cassandra Thurston of Berkeley Springs and JoAnn "Jodi" Golden (Shannon) of Berkeley Springs; her grandchildren, Kari Brown (Devin), Kristian Thurston, Frank McCumbee, Jr., Nikki Stoneberger (Jamey), Brady Longerbeam, Chloe McDaniel, Sidney Koontz (Brad), Matthew McCumbee, Kirstin Baker and Ethan Miller; and her great grandchildren, Blake Herrera, Lilly Despard, Lotus Despard and Jonathan Koontz.
