She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Ballard; her parents, Charles Carter and Harriett Justine Salyers Self; and her brother Chad Carter. She is survived by: her close friend Robert Thomas of Belle; her daughters, Connie Dolin (Steve) of Mount Holly and Teresa Scott of Denver; and her grandchildren, Derek Scott (Kelli), Alicia Scott, Brandon Dolin (Anne) and Brooke Dolin.
