She was predeceased by: her husband Lanty Ray Coulter; her parents, John Rugel and Josephine Luki Rugel; and her siblings, Anton, Frank, Joseph, John Rugel, Josephine Kogoy, Jean Markman, Annie Meadows and Florence Raines.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lou Herald (Terry) of The Villages, Frank Coulter (Linda) of South Charleston and Ruthie Workman (Daniel Sr.) of Charleston; and her grandchildren, Joshua David Herald (Lori), Sarah Elizabeth Mileke (Chuck), Scott Coulter (April), Jessie Jones (Chad), Clay Coulter (Megan) and Daniel Workman Jr. (Jessica). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
