He was predeceased by: his mother Beulah May Tilley Guthrie; his wife Marjorie Guthrie; and his siblings, Randall Church, Edward Ball (Dolly) and Linda Crawford.
He is survived by: his father Robert B Guthrie Jr.; his stepdaughter Kari Elkins (Mark); his son Robert Guthrie of Ansted; his brothers, Fred Ball Sr. and Randy Guthrie Oak Hill (Yvette); his brothers-in-law, Thomas Ingram (Patricia) and Dennis Ingram (Michelle Cassell) of Ansted; and his nieces and nephews, Pamela Mink (Blake) of Tennessee, Crystal Ball, Christie Campbell (Grant), Jennifer Guthrie (Johnny Ward), April Bryant (Justin) of Oak Hill, Hannah Critchley (Joe) of Ansted, Holly Ingram (William Brogan) of Charleston, Fred Ball (Angela) of Shady Springs and Jason Ball of Fayetteville.
