She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Kyle and Della Meadows Allem; her former husband Kenna Rufus Shafer; her husband Albert Eslinger; and her son Steve Michael Shafer.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Shawver (Bill), Danny Shafer (Yvette), Kenna Shafer, Jr. and Scott Shafer (Tiffany); her stepdaughter Linda Bennett (John); her grandchildren, Cindy Martz, Crystal Kluding (Andy), Billy Shawver (Becky), Sonja Shafer, Steven Shafer, Danielle Hawkins (Sam) and Taylor Shafer; and her great grandchildren, McKinley, Chase, Allison, Carter, Chelsea and Eli. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
