He was predeceased by: his son Marion Russell; and his sister Linda Bowyer. He is survived by: his wife Letha Mae Eggleston Bowyer; his sons, Joseph Bowyer (Toni) of Staunton, V. A. and James Bowyer (Jessica) of Covington, V. A.; his grandchildren, Justin Highlander, Dylan Bowyer, Madison Bowyer, Hunter Bowyer, Rylee Bowyer, Shaleigh Burns and Preston Hoover; his great grandchild Cayden Highlander; and his siblings, Wilma Hendricks of Ronceverte, Anna Bryant of Alderson and Russell Bowyer of Alderson.

Covid-19 guidelines will be followed and the wearing of masks inside the funeral home will be enforced.
