He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Fortman and Marilyn Fortman (Jacobsen). He is survived by: his daughter Nicole; and his siblings, Gayle Fortman, Richard Fortman (Fawn), Fred Fortman (Lynne), Brian Fortman and Janis Clery. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
