She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Zipperer and Elsie Zipperer (Hastreiter); her husband Melvin Shimon; her daughter Susan Shimon; her daughter-in-law Karen Shimon; her sisters-in-law, John Shimon, Evelyn Shimon, Cecilia Shimon, Joseph Shimon (Martha), Adolph Shimon, Bernard Shimon (Grace) and Jim Fischer; and also, Eleanor Schmoock (Dale), Margaret Keup (Orville) and Lorraine Kinstetter (Elmer).

She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Olive Fischer, Irene Shimon and Dorothy Schmoock. She is also survived by eleven children and their spouses: Michael Shimon; Margie (Joe) Puta; Barbara (Terry) Rush; Mary Ann (Mark) Knier; Paul Shimon; Steven (Sandy) Shimon; Patrick (Jean) Shimon; Bernadine Shimon; Beverly (Rick) Evenson; Carolyn (Chad) Christel; Peter (Wen) Shimon; 33 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
