It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald J. Buisman (West Salem, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 10, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Buisman and Evelyn Buisman (Meyer); his brothers, George and Truman; his nephew Wesley Buisman; his siblings-in-law, Wilma Buisman, Kenneth Plenge and Herbert Stello; and his daughters-in-law, Lavonne Buisman and Renee Buisman.
He is survived by: his wife Delores; his children, Ronald Buisman (Sheri Klein) of West Salem, Thomas Buisman of West Salem, Timothy Buisman (Lisa) of La Crosse and Barbara Knutson (Eric) of Melrose; his grandchildren, Ryan Buisman (Becky), Adam Buisman (Sarah), Jacob Buisman (Carley), Andrew Buisman (Paige), Nicholas Buisman, Jay Buisman, Daniel Knutson (Jenna) and Jennifer Knutson; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Haley Buisman, Colton, Piper, Grey Buisman, Reese Knutson, Holden and Riley Buisman; his brother James of Wilmar, Minn.; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Buisman of Arizona, Jeanette Stello of Oshkosh, Ruth Ann Buisman of Aitkin and Carole Plenge of La Crescent. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Christ Ev. Lutheran Church, West Salem, the West Salem Fire Department, or the Berg-Hemker-Olson American Legion Post 51 of West Salem.
