He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Dallmann and Shirley Dallmann; his parents-in-law, Ellis and Catherine Murphy; his siblings-in-law, James Murphy, Jonathan Murphy and Rita Murphy; his nephews, Dennis Murphy and David Murphy; and his friend Dennis Albrecht.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Margaret (Joseph Holt) and Michael (Nicki); his stepgrandchildren, John Holt (Danika), Mary Holt (Christian Hernandez), Michael Holt (Tory) and Rachel Holt; his siblings-in-law, Thomas Murphy (Bette Jo), Karen Murphy and Eileen Murphy; and his nieces, Jenny Smadi (Tarif), Judy Murphy, Kathleen Shoo Amy (Jeffrey), Colleen Murphy and Carrie Koloff (Rick).
