Mary V. McCarthy Obituary
Mary V. McCarthy (Key) passed away at the age of 98, at her home at St. Camillus Assisted Living on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband David McCarthy, Grandson David McCarthy II, her sister Grace Key.
She was a loving mother to Thomas (Laura), Daniel (Ann), Ellen (Paul) Van Hierden, Susan (Jon) Williams; cherished grandmother to Margo (Brad) Farrell, Marissa (Ken) Goodell, Kathryn (Michael) Bates, Angela (Brian) Braatz, Karen (Stephen) Osmanski, Michael (Michaela) Van Hierden. She was the cherished "GG" to 16 great-grandchildren and was happiest when surrounded by them. They include Arianna, Luke, Reese, Delia, Calvin, Caroline, Mason, Colette, Zoe, August, Erin, Jack, Ruby, Rhea, James and William. Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law Nance and Renzo Falcinelli. Nieces, nephews and friends.
Mary's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the pride and joy of Mary's life. The legacy of Mary's kind spirit, passion for sports, love of reading, and zest for life will live on through them.
Visitation Monday, June 10, 2024 from10:00am until Time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at Christ King Catholic Church, 2604 Swan Blvd., Wauwatosa. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park, Wauwatosa. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Alzheimer's Association Wisconsin Chapter, 620 South 76th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53214 appreciated.
