Lois K. Proft Obituary
(Nee Klumb). Life-time resident of Wauwatosa. Died Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the age of 101 years. Born November 10, 1922, daughter of Louis and Celia Klumb. Preceded in death by her husband, Roy Proft and her brother, Vernon Klumb. Loving mother of Thomas (Jerri), Patricia and James (Sharon). Further survived by her grandchildren, Jill (Sean) Downey, Shelley (Michael) Laitinen, Kelly (Jimmy) Culores and Chad Jensen; her great-grandchildren, Brett and Jake Downey, Emily and Ryan Laitinen and Chad Jensen, Jr.; her nephew, Michael Proft; other relatives and friends.
Over the years, Lois had been involved in activities that brought her pleasure-traveling, bowling, dancing, music, cards and membership in local organizations.
Visitation Friday, January 26, 2024 from 1:00pm until Time of Mass of Christian Burial at 2:30pm at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 5400 W. Washington Blvd., Milwaukee. Private interment Calvary Cemetery, Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wauwatosa Historical Society, St. Sebastian Catholic Church or the Charity of your Choice appreciated.
