Janet Mary Babler Obituary
Janet Mary Babler, 93, formerly from Wauwatosa, WI passed away peacefully on Friday, July 12 surrounded by her three daughters. Born April 23, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Cecilia and Henry. She is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband Donald J. Babler, two sisters Bernadine and Marge (Frank), and one younger brother Eugene. Janet is survived by her three daughters, Nancy (Terry), Jane (Art), Julie (Joe), her 5 grandchildren Lauren, Allie (Luke), Trevor, Nicole and Jon (Heather) and her sister-in-law Mary.
Janet was a very successful Real Estate Agent at Federated for 15 years. She and Don enjoyed organizing various activities for their friends, family and the Friday Nite Net Nipper group including, but not limited to tennis, hole in the fence parties, and road rallies. She was an avid sports fan of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, Wisconsin Badgers and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Janet's Catholic faith was a guidepost for her life, and she was very involved at Christ King Parish in a number of events and ministries.
A Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at Christ King Roman Catholic Church, 2604 N. Swan Blvd, Wauwatosa, WI. 53226.
Memorial donations may be made to Luther Manor, 4545 N. 92nd Street, Wauwatosa, WI. 53225 or Christ King School in Janet's name.
A special thanks to all the wonderful and compassionate nurses, CNA's and other staff at Luther Manor who took great care of Janet for five years.
