Elaine Karier Obituary

Elaine Karier, a long-time Wauwatosa resident, died July 2, at age 103. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, and son, Daniel.

She is survived by daughters Monica (Harry) Brammer and Elizabeth "Libby" Karier (Garry Low); grandchildren Harry, Catherine "Kitty" and William (Sachi) Brammer; and many nieces and nephews.

Elaine wanted her life to be celebrated (preferably with chocolate malts or root beer floats), not her death to be mourned.

A gathering with the family will be held on Thursday, July 11, from 4-7 p.m. at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society or the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast.
