She was predeceased by: her parents, Eino Aalto and Jennie Aalto (Viitanen); her siblings, Thelma Jordan and Elmer; and her sons-in-law, Daniel Berg and Jim Markle.
She is survived by: her daughters, June Markle, Carol Berg and Diane Otto (Gary); and her grandchildren, Matt Markle (Sacaunda), Nathan Markle, Andy Berg (Laura Johnson), Jenny Berg, John Otto (Trixie) and Ross Otto (Aileen). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Berea Lutheran Church or Elaine's Hope.
