Clara W. Kuranz Obituary
With her window open and a fresh breeze blowing in, Clara Winter Kuranz peacefully passed away on the morning of Monday July 29th, 2024. The evening prior to Clare's passing, as was tradition for her family, two of her sons and one son-on-law were having a rather loud "discussion.". After 99 strong years and one last "for evermore," Clare finally decided enough was enough!
After raising eight mostly above average children with her husband of 50 plus years, Arthur, Clare really got started. She spent the next nearly four decades travelling, golfing, knitting, and walking. But her greatest joy always came from spending time with her family. Whenever there was an event, an outing or just a simple dinner with her kids, the answer was always "yes!". We were all blessed to experience her amazing style, wit, and passion for life.
Clare is survived by her children Karen Donohoo (James), Phillip (Stacy Evans), Mark (Cheryl Wiese), Michael, Kim Gallina (Brenton), Christopher and Steven (Sarah Brodrick). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Clara (Drilling) Winter, her brothers Howard, Arthur, and Jerome as well as her sisters Florabelle, Paulina and Joan. She is also preceded in death by her husband Arthur, her son Patrick and her great grandsons Theodore and Jordan.
Please join us for visitation starting at 9:30 am and mass at 10:30 am on Friday, September 13th at Christ King Parish in Wauwatosa, WI. Following the service there will be a Celebration of Life at Blue Mound Golf and Country Club where there will be plenty of toasts to "us good golfers!".
