Carlotta L. Camarda Obituary

Daughter of Ignatius and Mary Josephine (Proite) Camarda.

Survived by her loving nieces, Joan (the late Raymond) Matejcak and Ellen (Robert) Goetz. Beloved great nephews, John (Colette) Matejcak, Peter (Jackie) Matejcak, Paul (Ashley) Matejcak and Matthew (girlfriend Ashley Soto) Goetz. Cherished great-great aunt of Luke and Leo Matejcak; Lucy, Nicholas and Cecilia Matejcak; and Sophia and Raymond Matejcak. Also survived by many relatives and good friends. Especially much loved cousins Gail Adams, Annie Coppell and Mary Stefanik, and dear life-long friend, Betty Boehrer.

Lindy was preceded by her beloved sister Marie Joan (the late Robert) Janser.

Lindy graduated from Holy Angels Academy. She was a proud graduate of Marquette University with a Masters Degree in History. She was a dedicated high school teacher for many years, retiring from Mukwonago High School.

Lindy was a woman of many interests and talents but most of all, she loved her family above all else. She was incredibly proud of all of her nieces and nephews. Her greatest pleasure was listening to every detail of what they've been up to and all of their accomplishments. Lindy was a passionate, caring, fun-loving person whom we will miss terribly.

Thank you to the staff of St Camillus Assisted Living, especially Simone, for their care of Lindy over the last two years. Special thank you to the caring and compassionate doctors and nurses of the MICU at Froedtert Hospital for making Lindy's final days comfortable and her family at ease.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024 at St. Camillus Lady of Guadalupe Chapel (10101 W Wisconsin Ave Wauwatosa, WI 53226) at 12:30PM until time of mass of Christian Burial at 1PM.

Private family burial to take place.
