Kolstad in Wausau, Wisconsin, born in Mondovi, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kolstad and Myrtle Kolstad (Skovbroten); his wife Jean; his in-laws, Marvin and Leona Wiesenthal (Roots); his siblings, Merwyn "Mike" Kolstad, Erling Kolstad, Ole Kolstad and Gary Kolstad; his siblings-in-law, Patty Kolstad, Carol Kolstad, Joyce Wiesenthal and James "Jim" Wiesenthal; and his nephews, Kevin Kolstad and David Huntington.
He is survived by: his brother Chuck; his children, Kelly Ziemke (Grant), John Kolstad (Patty) and Cathy Naukkari (James); his grandchildren, Joshua (Christina), Kaitlin (Josh), Jared (Caroline), Brock, Amanda (Bob), Samantha, Bryce (Allison), Alison, Brayden (Sydney), Kristopher, Hanah (Tim) and Halle; his great grandchildren, Adeline, Kennedy and Baylor; his siblings, Anita Huntington (late Chester), Anthony "Andy" Kolstad and Lon Kolstad; and his siblings-in-law, Carmen Kolstad, Rose Kolstad, Maryon Wiesenthal and William Wiesenthal (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
