He was predeceased by: his parents, Egbert Woude and Dirkje Vander Woude (Couperus); his former wife Florence Vander Woude; his son-in-law Todd Andrews; his brothers, Roger (Joyce Kok) and Seymour Kok (Junice Kok); and his brother-in-law Donald Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Vant Hoff; his children, Alice Satterfield (Lloyd) of Texas, Edward "Woody" Vander Woude (Colleen) of Arizona, Janice Andrews of Eau Claire, Margaret Kary (Norman) of Texas and Kathleen Clements (Marc) of Waupun; his sister Tina Vellema (Jelle) of Holland; his sister-in-law Reiny Stellingwerf; his children, John Vant Hoff (Kathy), LuAnn Reuter (John), Patti Van Denend (Tim) and Randy Vant Hoff (Gina); his sister Marlene Hughes; and his close friends, Chuck and Kathy Schlieve. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren with another great grandson.
