He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Winkel and Elsie Katsma Winkel; and his brother James Winkel. He is survived by: his siblings, Janice DeVries (Percy) of Waupun, Dennis Winkel (Carol) of Oshkosh and Robert Winkel (Jeannette) of Waupun. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
