It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. Moericke of Waupaca, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Michael Mehlberg; his siblings, Jean Raduchel (Elroy), Dawn Yaeger (Norman), Orley Sparks (Edward) and Gerald Moericke (Geri Brass); his brother-in-law Edward Kufahl; and his parents-in-law, Kenneth Zeinert (Frances), Eugene Zeinert, Barry Kircher, Geraldine Hanson (Butch Vetter) and Elaine Ploetz.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva; his children, Bart Moericke (Ann) of Clintonville, Brenda Mehlberg (Jon Budke) of Clintonville and Bridget Richter of Waupaca; his grandchildren, Malissa Schwersenska (John), Bret Moericke (Terri), Brian Moericke (Katherine) and Morgan Richter; his great grandchildren, Reiley, Macey, Dixie and Carter; his parents-in-law, Marvin Zeinert (Joan), Caroline Lucht (Herbert), Sally Schmitt (Sonny Beyer), Dave Hanson and Irene Zeinert; and his godchildren, Bonnie Bruce and Herb Lucht Jr.. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
