We bid farewell to Janell Schafer (Waupaca, Wisconsin), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 17, 2024 at the age of 69. Janell touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Gibson and Joan Gibson (Waldrip); and her son Sean Nolting. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Huhta; her siblings, John S. Gibson (Sally) and Wendy (Gibson) Bledsoe (Ben); her children, Ryan Nolting (Amanda), Dana Cody (Steve), Keri Schafer (Jorge) and Connor Schafer; and her pet Le Rush Bo. She is also survived by grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Janell's honor to benefit domestic animal welfare in the Waupaca area.
