He was predeceased by: his father Robert Schmidlkofer; his sister Barbara Echols (Schmidlkofer); and his nephew Quinn Echols. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Ken Echols of San Antonio, TX; his nieces, Shelby Gabrielson of San Antonio, Texas and Heather Gibson (Terralis) of Fredericksburg, Virginia; and his great-nieces, Reiley and Hailey Gibson of Fredericksburg, Virginia.. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
