He was predeceased by: his wife Philippa; his son Robert Bruce; and his siblings, Ilah Plehn (Fred), Lyle (Margie), Raymond Nichols, Elmer Nichols, Dorothy (Darvin), Sjoberg and Donna Winn (Jim).
He is survived by: his spouse Phippy; his daughter Kristi Nichols Kading (Scott); and his siblings, Eric Zick (Gloria) and Lorna Zick (Jody Kasperski). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to the Alzheimer's Association, the Goodman Community Center or Our Savior Deaf Lutheran Church.
