He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Schulz and Elsie Schulz; and his siblings, Julius "Bud", Donald "Doc", Alan, Elaine Boss and Grace Cassenova.

He is survived by: his wife Arlene Schuette; his children, Loran of Lodi, WI and Cheryl Sobeck of East Helena, MT; and his siblings, Minerva Bauer, Lucille Brecker and Ken. He is also survived by spouses, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
