We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2023, at the age of 79, Sandra C. Anderson of Viroqua, Wisconsin, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Bekkum and Amanda Bekkum (Olstad); her grandson Jake Nundahl; her siblings-in-law, Victor and Hazel Anderson (Carlson); and her brothers, Marvin and Robert Bekkum.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Anderson; her children, Vicki Whitney (Greg), Greg Anderson (Joyce), Laurie Nundahl (Ron) and Steve Anderson (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Charles Whitney (Marie), Ashley Whitney, Justine Anderson, Nicole Nundahl, Julie Anderson (Roland Nelson), Melissa Anderson and Levi Anderson; and her siblings, Kermit Bekkum, Audrey Tollefson, Daniel Bekkum (Liz), Peter Bekkum (Marsha), Lillian Primmer (Donald), Gloria Schroeder (John), Sherman Bekkum (Geri), Conrad Bekkum (Terese), Trish Helgerson (Aaron Fagen), Anton Bekkum (Mary) and Emily Granlund (Mark). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
The final journey was the most difficult as Alzheimer's is a road that derails dreams and steals joy.
