She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Boegen and Alma Boegen; her husband Russell Matthews; her brother Eugene Boegen; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Boegen.

She is survived by: her children, Keith Matthews and Leslie Matthews. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
