He is survived by: his former spouse Sandy Buckles (Harpstreith); his children, Kevin Buckles (Lori) of Coon Valley, Kelly Boardman (Danny) of De Soto and Kim Ellefson (Alonzo) of La Crosse; his siblings, Deb Umberger (Mark) of Genoa and Loren of Viroqua; and his grandchildren, Taylor Voegeli (Garrett) of Viroqua, Matt Helgerson (Holly) of Coon Valley, Rebecca Buckles of Coon Valley, Mitch Boardman of Caledonia, Minn, Bailey, Sidney and Dylan Ellefson of La Crosse. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
