He was predeceased by: his parents, Chancy Sidie and Doris Sidie (Knutson); his son Wade Sidie; his grandson Preston Nelson; and his sisters, Dee Ann Hase and Delores Howell.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Sidie (Vern Hanson) and Tamara Nelson (Guy); his stepson William Howell (Katreena); his stepgrandchild Nadya; his granddaughter Starr Nelson (Ryan Onshus); and his stepgrandsons, Brett, Michael and Cody. He is also survived by grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
