He is survived by: his niece Gracielee; and his siblings, Myron Hatlan (Marilyn) of Sparta, Bernie Hatlan (Taylor) of Luray, Joseph Clifford Hatlan Jr. of Viroqua, Calvin Hatlan (Kendra) of Hillsboro, Steve Hatlan of Tomah and Elizabeth Broadhead (James) of Westby. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
