She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Nelson and Olga Nelson (Wethal); her siblings, John Nelson and Nancy Bratland (Nelson); and her stepson Christopher "Tup" Riley.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas; her children, Cathy Vale (David) and Mark Overland; her stepchildren, Michael Riley (Nicki) and Sue Riley (Bob Whetstone); her stepdaughter-in-law Susan Riley; and also, Stoughton Rico and Puerto Rico. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
