She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Pahl; and her brothers, Eugene, Robert and Karol. She is survived by: her children, Albert, Arboretum, Douglas Sr. (Joan) and Marilyn Brinkman (Marshall); her grandchildren, Eva (Dan), Marta (Aris), Douglas Jr. (Kate) and Thomas Eddington; and her great grandchildren, Maddox Allen, George, Candy, Petra and Leonidas Gialamas.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heartland Hospice in Ione's name.
