With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Handel (Verona, Wisconsin), born in New Glarus, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 14, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Adolph and Lillian; and her siblings, Mildred Rufener, Arlene Yaun and Jerome Sonsteby.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Lennon (Vince) of Naples, Mary Handel of Miami, Steve Handel (Donna) of Verona and Linda Hellie (John) of Stratton, Maine; her grandchildren, Tonya Duerst, Jessica Estrada Garcia (Esteban), Michael Garcia (Eunice Shriver), Dylan Handel (Bryanna), Devon Handel and Alison Handel (Dylan Nimz); and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mayce, Elizabeth, Lyle, Clyde and Esteban. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Salem United Church of Christ or to Agrace HospiceCare.
