He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Mark Steckel (Tricia Siverling) of Ladysmith, WI, Paula Johnson (Andy) of Edgar, WI, Rick Steckel (Teresa) of Ladysmith, WI and Karen Yturralde (Joe) of Camarillo, CA; and his sisters, Ellen Rohwer of Sutherland, IA and Mary Jane Evans of San Diego, CA.. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
