He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy and Rosalyn; his sons, Stephen, Danny and Michael Roof; his great grandchild Sophie Kurtz; his siblings, Harriet DeLap (Austin), Rosemary Long (James) and Stanley Roof (Alice); and his brother-in-law Bernard Linenberg.
He is survived by: his spouse Joan; his children, Timothy, Joseph, Jill Roof, John Kurtz (Patricia), Bryon Kurtz, Sondra Cornell and Cynthia Menard (Brian); and his sisters, Vohnie Rabuck, Carolee Linenberg and Sharon Lewis (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
