Marie Augusta Drescher Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Suhr and Marie Suhr (Riechmann); her husband Norman Drescher; her brothers, Adolph and Gustav Suhr; and her grandsons, Kevin and Adam Stratton.

She is survived by: her children, David Drescher (Nancy) of Lake Mills, WI, Diane Drescher of New York, NY, Donna Stratton of Apopka, FL, Karen Drescher of Chicago, IL and John Drescher (Peggy) of Bartlett, IL; her grandchildren, Sara Drescher, Michele Drescher (Michael Berry), Dan Drescher (Laurel), Bryan Stratton (Belinda), Joshua Stratton, Adelynn Drescher, Michaella Drescher (Zach Nelson) and Braedon Drescher; and her great grandchildren, Brandon Stratton, Bradley Stratton, Brianna Stratton, Austin Stratton, Reagan Drescher, Miles Berry, Madelyn Berry, Lily Drescher, Olivia Drescher, Giselle Drescher, Harvey Drescher, Tessa Drescher and Paige Nelson.

Marie served on the Wisconsin Legislative Cemetery Advisory Committee, and she was instrumental in creating Tomah's Oak Grove Cemetery Foundation, Inc. to fund preservation and improvements.
