He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewald August Blado and Marie Louise Blado (Pelz); his parents-in-law, Arlyn and Doris Miller; his sister Marie Stefferud (Dan); and his grandchildren, Jack Erickson and Faith Rady.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Blado; his daughters, Cären Yang (Faling), Leslye Ulman (Jeff), Lori Erickson (Ryan) and Dana Rady (Eric); his grandchildren, Brandon Yang (Annaliese Kehoe), Carlena Haydock (Joey), Dillon Yang, Jordyn Hungerford (Aaron), Jakob Ulman, Isaiah Ulman (Alaina Dahlke), Boaz Ulman, Malia Erickson, Samuel Erickson, Griffin Rady, Easton Rady and Havyn Rady; his great grandchild James Hungerford; and his siblings-in-law, Dan Stefferud, James Miller, Marilyn Miller and Sue Miller.
