He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Haines and Elva Haines (Boyd); his brothers, Leland Haines and Loren Haines; and his sisters-in-law, Gladys and Ruth Ann Haines.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia King; his nephew Larry; his children, Dawn Haines of Holmen and Timothy Haines (Connie) of Tomah; his grandchildren, Heather Gerken (Vaughn) of Onalaska, Jennifer Patzner (Kyle) of Onalaska, Ben Haines (Kassie) of Onalaska, Katie Moravec (Ryan) of Lillington, NC and Emily Elrod of Tomah; his great grandchildren, Jack, Isabelle, Madeline, Hailey and Luke; and his siblings, Dallas Haines of Tomah and LaVonne Naegal (Paul) of Council Bluffs. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
