He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Schreier and Hilda Schreier (Heilman); his siblings, Albin "Dick" Schreier, Agnes Raymond (Robert), Helen Stiehl (Lloyd), Virginia Beechler (Ed), Philip Schreier and Caroline Schreier; and his grandsons, Matthew Small and Benjamin Path.

He is survived by: his wife Christine; his brother Peter Schreier (Nancy); his sister-in-law Joyce Schreier; his children, Kim Lehn (Esdon), Christopher Schreier (Leslie), Cathy Salathe (Del), Karen Schreier, Debbie Antony (Denny), Robert Likely (Cindy) and Shelly Trowbridge (Dale); and his grandchildren, Nicole Concordia (Steven), Whitney Dittmar (Cal), Emilee Kaupp-Lehn, Austin Schreier, Devyn Schreier, Kendra Snyder (Zach), Kayla Salathe (Nik), Brianna Borst (Blake), Cassie Path (Ron), Jeremy Likely (Natalie), Kristen Likely (Bill) and Dena Trowbridge (Aaron). He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
